BPHI’s Inaugural Golfathon
Wanted: Golfers who care enough to play a round for the homeless!
If you love to play golf and have a soft spot in your heart to help others in need then sign up to be a player in BPHI’s inaugural Golfathon. To obtain a player’s registration form or for more information call 954-644-9049 or go online www.bphi.org
It’s easy . . its meaningful . and its fun! All proceeds will go to support the work that Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Inc. does to help homeless men, women and families with children.
Each golfer is challenged to raise $2,000 by playing 36 holes of golf. This is a fast paced game played in twosomes. ONLY 36 players are allowed so sign up now so you aren’t let out. And for a bonus for participating, every player receives a $250 gift card to the pro shop.
Get your family and friends to sponsor your game by pledging an amount for each hole you play . . .$10/hole . . $50/hole . . $100/hole . .whatever amount they want. It all goes to help the homeless!. Each player will have a personal web page to accept donations. Donations can also be made by check or credit card. Grand prize to the golfer who raises the most money.
The Golfathon will be held on September 2, 2009 at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club, a 18-hole championship private course regarded as one of the finest in South Florida.
Your can be a scratch golfer or a hacker and still have a great time on the course while you help the homeless. Each golfer will have their own web page to collect their sponsors.
