BPHI Salute to Leadership Gala Honors Waldman, AutoNation and Leo Goodwin Foundation

Aleida Ors Waldman, Esq.

Polish up your cowboy boots - - - dust off your Stetson and join Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Inc. (BPHI) as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the opening of the Broward County Central Homeless Assistance Center (Center) on the Huizenga Family Campus at our annual Salute to Leadership Gala.  A truly unique experience awaits you as we travel west to the edge of the Everglades for a unique “Florida Cowboy Roundup” at the Bergeron Green Glades Ranch (note some sponsorships that include a complimentary limousine!)

The 2009 Salute to Leadership Gala, to be held April 4, 2009, will honor one individual and two organizations that were among the first to step forward to address the issue of homeless in our community and lend their substantial resources to help and sustain BPHI.

The 2009 James J. Blosser Community Trusteeship Award will honor Aleida Ors Waldman, Esq., for her leadership as being one of the first to take on the homeless encampment known as “Tent City,”  rally the community support to create BPHI and ultimately to build the Center.
